Birth Certificate
The original with an Apostille signature (If an original certificate was presented - there is no need to verify it)
Certificate of Marital Status
An official certificate attesting to marital status: Marriage certificate, divorce, death in the case of a widower - with an apostille stamp
3 Passport Photos
Size: 35/45 mm
A Study Permit
Attesting to a stay of up to 1 year in Israel (if the studies took place in Israel)
Medical Letter of Confirmation
Accompanying medical document to testify about health/mental conditions from your doctor, if applicable
Approval and Parental Consent for Minors
Approval From the Ministry of Education or the Jewish Agency that the minor is under their care, as well as parental consent to granting immigrant status if the Oleh is between the ages 14-17 and is making Aliyah without parents or in cases where the minor arrived in the country as part of one of the Agency's youth groups on behalf of the Jewish agency
Authenticated and Original Certificates and Documents
If necessary, for the applicant to change status from a tourist to an Oleh, they must prove Judaism and/or eligibility for the right of return through membership in a synagogue, permission to bury parents in a Jewish cemetery, ketubah to prove marriage, bar mitzvah certificate, membership in Jewish organizations and any other relevant document.
Confirmation of Judaism or Jewish Affiliation
Letter from a recognized community leader abroad, from a list of rabbis approved by the Ministry of Interior, attesting to the applicant's Judaism like: parents' marriage certificate / copy of a translated and certified "ketubah", bar mitzvah certificate, death certificate / burial confirmation of parents or grandparents from a Jewish cemetery, membership in a synagogue, membership in a Jewish organization, or any other document, photos, or evidence that can testify to the applicant's Judaism.
Confirmation of Exemption From IDF Service or Deferral of Service
The exemption is given to women aged 20 and over, women who are not single or mothers of children, and men aged 32 and over excluding doctors and dentists. There must also be a confirmation of reporting to the recruitment office, confirmation of exemption from IDF service, or deferral of service.
Diplomas and Educational Certificates
Certificates from school/academy/professional licensing + school certificates for children demonstrating education
Certificate of Integrity From the Country of Origin
Up-to-date and translated into Hebrew or English with Apostille signature at the consulate
Foreign Passport
Valid for at least 1 year from the date of submission of the application
A Certificate Proving a Name Change
If a name change has been made (individual or family), a certificate proving this must be presented
Updated Israeli Teudat Zehut
Must be submitted to the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration after arrival in Israel
Original Conversion Certificate
In the case of conversion - a court ruling where the conversion process took place, along with a letter from the community leader where the convert participated, detailing the conversion process.
Previous Visits or Stays in Israel
Passport showing the dates of departure from Israel before the age of 14 in order to determine your Aliyah status
Israeli Document of Parents
Passports, Teudat Zehut, and any other documents proving that at least 1 parent is Israeli
Documents Demonstrating Continuous Stays Abroad
Passports or alternative documents demonstrating continuous stays abroad (aside from periods of time not considered as a return to Israel), except for periods that are not considered a return to Israel: study permits, annual certificates from an educational institution, or official certificates from the Income Tax or National Insurance Institute abroad
Proof of Guardianship
If applicable (minor or a person with special needs, etc.)
Proof of Study
Demonstrating a stay of up to 1 year in Israel (for those who studied/volunteered)
Teudat Zehut of Legal Guardian
Valid passport
Valid for at least a half year
